My first full post of the new year is going to be sharing details of the cruise to Cuba that I did in September 2017. Especially for those of us in the United States, Cuba is surrounded by mystery and not a place that we could easily visit. Let me just say, I’m hooked, beyond glad that I went, and eagerly hope to return one day.

At the end of May 2016 my husband and I took his parents on what ended up being an utterly amazing family vacation: a 7 day cruise to Alaska. To be honest, virtually every excursion that either Norwegian cruise lines offered or that I found on my own seemed like a “must do”. In the end, we ended up with 4 not to miss excursions.
